Flipped Classroom is the by-product of advent of BYOD, BYOT or any type of educational technology. Society is resourced with Ultra Fast Fiber Optics Cable and really powerful computers. Now students are capable of receiving information sitting at home. Educational content and instruction can be received from home. Therefore, some of the educators argue why not we provide 'low level' information to the students earlier to a classroom lesson. Let the students come with some prior information into class. In class, students work with deeper understanding of concepts, applications, and connections to content are made. Teachers are supposed to provide support as a facilitator. I know, sceptics will raise eye brow and question, if this is at all possible? Are the students self-regulated to be trusted with this type of arrangement? People's concerns are valid, but we got to try. Following video is the second part of my video.
